When looking through the video remember he has already disconnected all cables and removed the screws to make it easier.

Always be careful when removing parts make a note of where and how everything is connected also take photos if »»»
Having a closer look at the manuals for some of the Medion motherboards it indicates that the front audio connections should be connected to the JAUD1 connection of the motherboard. I can not find the manual for your mother board.

You may need a torch. If you look inside the computer and can follow the cable from the front to the connection on the motherboard you can check that it is connected to JAUD1 and seated correctly. The writing on the motherboard is very small. If you can get a copy of the motherboard manual it will help identify where »»»
I plug the headphones in an it stays dull. I also don't have a line in port on my pc but its showing that i do (the red and white) an that something is plugged in.

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=6693034&l=14e911e88d&id=739141012

I only have a mic and headphone socket and nothing is detected when put into them. Nothing changes on the Audio manager »»»
Hi Otto, one reason why dismantling a Laptop is tricky, is its not like a desktop, where in nearly all cases, procedure is the same.

In a lot of ways, there's loads of different Laptops, well maker, size, design etc. If your lucky you might find detailed disassemble instructions for your particular model, sometimes very lucky.

There normally held together with screws & clips. Easiest will have panels underneath(sometimes labelled, with whats underneath), remove a few screws & gain easy access to remove/change a component. By design with some its not that easy, in a lot of cases, its »»»
Hi,

Which version of Windows 7 do you have? 64 or 32 bit?

Some people have used vista drivers in the appropriate format ie 32 or 64 bit from the medion UK website. The correct drivers are accessed by entering the serial number from the back of your PC when you use the website.

Hope this »»»
