That's it I give up with this tv card I have tried everything but still no channels will be found I've also been having problems with it on XP lately, it freaks out making squeeky noises, channels freeze up..it's a nightmare grrrrrr lol

Can anyone advise me on a good dual usb tv tuner?

Also Win7 keeps locking up, I've now had to force boot about 15 times since I installed it this »»»
Thanks Bazz, having been told that the sat nav could take a while to initialize I had left it in the garden with a clear sky view for an hour or so, but it still did not work.

Received an email response from Medion who suggested that I spend a few pounds using there non premium rate 0870 number.

So I thought knickers it should work out of the box, so back to Sainbury's and the replacement is working fine, now to learn how to use it, has the manual is far from idiot proof »»»
A few things i tried...

(some of these don't make any sense)

Uninstall the TV card (it will ask you to restart each time, say no the first time then restart once you've uninstalled the second).

Let Windows find the cards again and scan again.

Another thing i tried (the weird one) - Although I was using the one tuner for Dual signals - I split the coax and connected to both tuners on the card... that seemed to work (you could even flip the switch on the card to allow each tuner to configure independantly.

ermmmm I am running out of »»»
Hi folks,

Me again.

Well I've opened up the machine and have attached a link to such so that you can see what its like - but I can't find a fuse that looks like either of the photos you've kindly shown me already.

http://s658.photobucket.com/albums/uu304/Jayzee333/?action=view&current=DVDCloseup.jpg

Any further advice you have would be greatly appreciated - including how I can get out my disc.

Thank »»»
If it's your first sat nav you may not know that it takes a while to lock on to the satellites and get a location. Possibly 10 or more minutes the first time. After that it should be ready to roll very quickly. Battery life is probably not brilliant on any of them but you've got sockets in a car. If you want an on push bike system a dynamo powered model would be excellent. »»»
It seems to take one or two attempts - its not logical - you would think if you scanned one time and missed - the next time should miss - however sometimes it gets them second time round.

Otherwise - turn PC off and then re-do the setup.

good luck »»»
Hi, Just purchased a E3215 glamour edition from Sainsburys.

First what is the normal operation period from fully charged battery's, It's just that this model is designed to also use on a bicycle, but I don't think that you would be getting very far.

Out of the box 24 hr charge as per the useless manual, and the GPS is crossed out on the display and is not working. Everything else seems to be working OK.

Tried the factory reset, GPS factory reset etc. no joy!

Any ideas much appreciated, or is it back from whence it came.

If anyone is interested »»»
Ill think ill just say if anyone wants to help with poverty, illness, disease, or in general want to make peoples lifes better theres far more you can do and actually SEE the benefits of than give to Oxfam, thats not to say they dont do their job, just theres plenty better IMO you can do in this country. Half the stuff we throw away can put a smile on a childs face right here at home, rather than wasting money on rice constantly... I think the words "version" and "edition"I used in all my posts explain my meaning.

We all agree it doesn't matter about the BOX, it's the software on the disc inside that will be the same. Anyone wanting to sell on wouldn't require the box anyway

I said (about 10 posts above) quote:

"WE KNOW it may not come in a pretty box!"

I also have already pointed out quote:

"I'm being a bit sceptical here but how can supplies run out?"
