Maybe Medion is gonna surprise us all in just a few weeks.

I for one I'm still on the hunt for a new netbook (although now I pretend ION2 or discrete graphics and dual core 520 Atom or better) and a decently specced touch screen AIO with Full HD and HDMI output to use as »»»
I would recomand connecting an optical cable to a sourrond receiver and/or an HIFI ampli

All my 3 desktops are connected this way or via HDMI both to the sourrond receiverand HTPC in the next room and to the 2.1 stereo HIFI in my home office.

The 2.1 ampli is also plugged to the ingoing rca ports of a couple of the PCs so that I can easily digitalize and transfer to my HDs and home network CDs, vinyles, DAB or whatever may catch my fancy.

If you use your PC to listen to music a receiver or an amplifier is »»»
There is a free utility DriverMax that will look for suitable driver updates s for all your hardware and you can select those you wish to install. DriverMax found a USB driver for me that I had given up on otherwise.

Go to: http://www.drivermax.com/index.htm and click the download »»»
For the kind attention of Jane Doe

First - With respect you cannot close a topic. Only the Forum Management can lock a thread. So if that is your wish please address your request to Admin.

Secondly I have searched my Windows folder for instances of Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail. There are at least sixteen files and folders in Windows system that have one or other or a combination of those words. But I have neither Windows Mail nor Windows Live Mail installed. And this is because to have them I have to download »»»
I have one of these cards and the drivers and hardware are no trouble at all it is getting software to work with the tuner is the big problem. You can capture fine with the inputs (composite and Svideo) but the tuner freezes even in Windows media center. Might be worth trying K-World the manufacturers drivers etc found here

http://uk.kworld-global.com/main/support_down.aspx?mnuid=1338&modid=22 look under "Product Cat." ANALOG / "Interface" PCI /"Product" PCI Analog TV Card (PVR-TV 7131 SE). The drivers etc are generic for the 713x range of TV chips.

The PCI drivers and Hypermedia claim to be Win7 compatible. I would be »»»
Re-reviewing the deal and the 1000 HotUKDeals posts, the only letdowns are that there's just a jack connection from the onboard sound

FWIW the 3 rear 3.5 jacks can be configured for sound output, for example the mic connector acts as a centre/subwoofer output whilst the line in can act as a rear left and right speaker connection and the line out is for the front left speakers.

I am still dithering about ordering BTW! »»»
Have you actually tried vista or basing the comment on what you have read or heard elsewhere? I've used it for a while between computers, borrowed a friends while waiting to build my new one after one went badly wrong, & hated it ok turning off the uac helps a bit as you lose the constant nagging but overall I didn't enjoy using it at all. Hi, well i wouldn't trust Crucial memory finder 100%. Use Everest Home edition(Google) or CPUz etc etc. Normally best to match up spec wise, at least with a OEM/Medion PC/Laptop ie limited Bios settings.

Any Recovery Files on PC, backup, can't hurt(if ever asked to do a Factory reset, for fault checking, or maybe sending in for repair), note size of partitions also.

With regards RAM upgrade, what goes in, can come out . Yet again regards RAM upgrades with Medion Desktops, its normally treated as OK by Medion, at least when you read all the posts on here about »»»
Is there anywhere that sells a side panel to fit the E7330D (preferably clear plastic as this would save cutting a hole in the new one). Sounds like a good deal there, I've been eagerly waiting for the next Aldi release, not so much of a games machine just fancied a replacement desktop pc as I've had my Medion a good few years now. Very tempted to go for this deal, might order later - at this rate there won't be any queues for the next Aldi desktop »»»
I was first in the queue for my E1222 - frozen solid waiting in the cold for an hour for the store to open to ensure I got one of these Netbooks. I had already established the day before that they only had 7 in stock so I wanted to make sure - although in »»»
I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium on my MD 96630 Notebook.

I am not aware of any problems arising from the upgrade other than the remote control doesn't work. But as I don't use the remote I haven't bothered to find out why. It could be as simple as the battery needing replacement or the lack of a compatible »»»
For anyone contemplating going for this Dell deal that's due to expire at midnight tonight (Tuesday 9th March) and is worried about a long wait for delivery, I orderd mine on Sunday 7th March and was given an EDD of March 18th.

I have just received an e-mail saying that it'll now be delivered in TWO DAYS TIME (Thursday March 11th)

Re-reviewing the deal and the 1000 HotUKDeals posts, the only letdowns are that there's just a jack connection from the onboard sound (but I won't be using it as a media player anyway) and a 350 watt »»»
I'm looking for the normal record 'what you hear' control panel for recording to H/D drive and it looks as though the audio chip isn't duplex which I find hard to believe on a hard spec PC.

Is this so? Sueley I don't have to instal a Sound Blaster sound »»»
